What is Airbrush Makeup for Weddings?

Airbrush makeup is a technique of applying makeup to the skin using an airbrush stylus and air compressor.  The makeup is applied in such a fine mist that it complements the pixels in an image, giving a flawless, natural looking appearance that does not appear caked even with full coverage.  Airbrush makeup provides fantastic coverage of imperfections, which can be built up from sheer to full coverage.  Airbrush makeup gives a professional but natural look.

Airbrush makeup is widely used by professionals for photoshoots because of how beautifully it photographs.  It is favored by professional makeup artists for events such as weddings and graduations not only because of how well it photographs, but because it looks beautiful and natural in person too.  It is completely customizable to each person, by building coverage and blending to ensure the perfect match.

Airbrush makeup is favored by professional makeup artists for special occasions like weddings and graduation because it is long lasting and often sweat proof.

It will not smudge or run if you get emotional or hot and will look natural throughout the day.  The final result gives you a very natural, yet very finished and polished look.

What is Traditional Makeup?

When makeup artists use the term 'Traditional Makeup' they are referring to the application and use of foundation applied with makeup tools.  It may be liquid, cream or  powder foundation applied with a foundation brush, sponge or a duo fiber brush.

Traditional vs Airbrush Makeup

Your special event is approaching and you still can't decide between airbrush or traditional makeup.  Not to worry, you've landed at the right place!

The major difference between the two lies in the consistency of the makeup.

Traditional makeup has a thicker consistency, whereas because airbrush makeup has to be sprayed through an airbrush gun it is thinner than traditional foundations.

In all honesty, both traditional makeup and airbrush makeup are formulated for all-day wear.  However, airbrush makeup allows for a more skin-like, natural, polished finish as opposed to the complete cover of the skin that is widely practiced as traditional makeup.  It allows for a flawless coverage, evening out imperfections while still allowing your skin to breathe.  Your choice between airbrush and traditional makeup should ultimately be based on the look that you want on your special day and the finish you  desire.

Can I get Highlighter and Contour?

Of course!!!! What is makeup without highlight and contour!!! This can be done with airbrush makeup itself and/or in the concealing phase of the airbrush process.

We know you want to be on trend and we also understand that some may just want to glow from within.  This is about you, just communicate clearly exactly what you want,  so we can achieve the exact look you desire.
